Terms of service

Viti provides access to third-party language models through EU-processing routes, together with a privacy gateway, model routing, metering and administration. The model catalogue can change over time; routing may fail over between deployments of the same model, never silently to a different model family.

Plans are billed monthly, per active user: a person who does not use Viti during a calendar month is not billed for that month, and neither is one whose usage stays below the qualifying threshold. Exceeding a tier's included allowance does not create a metered charge — it moves that user to the next tier for that month, where you have approved the step, and otherwise their access pauses. Use through API keys is not tied to a person and is billed per use instead: each month's API use is invoiced at the model prices in force, as a separate line on the invoice. What each key has used this month is shown in the workspace. An administrator can set a monthly spending limit on each key; a key that reaches its limit stops until the next month. Usage is counted when a model produces it, not when you read it: if you stop a reply part-way, or your connection drops, the text already generated is counted, because the provider has already charged us for it. You can cancel at any time; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. Prices exclude VAT.

Subscriptions are billed monthly in advance. Access to Viti is currently arranged with us directly rather than by self-service sign-up, and any trial period is agreed in writing when your workspace is created. You may cancel at any time from the billing screen in your workspace; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period and no further payment is taken.

You agree not to:

• use the service for unlawful purposes or to generate unlawful content;
• attempt to re-identify data that has been masked by the privacy gateway, or to circumvent quotas, rate limits or security controls;
• resell access to the service without a written agreement with us;
• submit special-category data (GDPR Article 9) in reliance on the masking layer alone.

We operate the service with care and monitor it continuously, but it is provided "as is" and we do not guarantee uninterrupted availability. Upstream model providers can fail; when they do, routing falls back to another deployment of the same model or returns a clean error. Planned maintenance is announced in advance where practicable.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Viti's aggregate liability under these terms is capped at the fees paid by your organisation in the twelve months preceding the claim, and neither party is liable for indirect or consequential loss. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited.

These terms are governed by Faroese law, with Danish law applying where Faroese law is silent, and disputes are subject to the courts of the Faroe Islands.

We may update these terms. Material changes are notified to your organisation's administrative contact at least 30 days before they take effect; continued use after that date constitutes acceptance.
